General Studio Policies
Pick-up:
Please promptly pick-up your dancer after their classes and rehearsals. Students must be picked up by parents/guardians, or authorized persons inside the studios. Students are not to leave unless escorted by such person(s). Drivers must be aware that pulling into the handicapped parking spots and/or the loading zone will most likely find you sited by the King City Police. Please resist the temptation to do so. It pains us to see our dancer’s drivers receiving tickets.
Punctuality:
Students are asked to arrive 10 minutes prior to class to allow dancers to be ready at class start time. Important exercises that warm the body’s muscles are done at the beginning of class and the disruption late arrivals cause is disrespectful. Students that are not properly warm-up can be injured. Any student arriving more than five minutes late may be asked to observe class.
Absences:
Students should attend all classes so they can make sufficient progress. Please notify the studio of any absences prior to class start time. Dancers have 30 days in which to attend a make-up class.
Note: If a dancer is injured and cannot participate in class, a not from the dancer’s physician is required. Any dancer who is injured should still attend and audit their regular class so as to be able to view new material. If a child is illness is contagious, please keep them home, otherwise dancers are encouraged to observe class when not feeling well.
